Driving Nashville’s Solar + Storage Future: Dave Adams at TVSSC

Wilmot’s own Dave Adams took the stage this week at the Tennessee Valley Solar + Storage Conference in Nashville, helping share The Nashville Solar & Storage Story.

Dave facilitated a dynamic panel highlighting our region’s clean-energy momentum with:

• Teresa Broyles-Aplin, President & CEO – Nashville Electric Service

• John Barnett, Energy Project Manager – Metro Water Services

• Amit Yadav, Energy Manager – Metro Nashville Public Schools

Together, they discussed the future of community solar, municipal energy leadership, behind-the-meter solar expansion, and building a path to a resilient 100% renewable Nashville.

Dave also had the honor of presenting TenneSEIA’s 2025 Solar Champion Award to Mayor Freddie O’Connell in recognition of Nashville’s leadership in accelerating clean-energy adoption.
