David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Pittsburgh Under the direction of Wilmot’s team, t he David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburg, PA became the nation’s first convention center to attain Gold LEED® rating. Wilmot was instrumental in quantifying the residual from the construction project. We performed a study designed to test the potential and overall effectiveness of a large scale C&D debris recycling program and determined the resultant savings on the local, community and state-wide levels. When implemented, significant quantities of C&D debris were reclaimed in the middle of the centrally located, congested downtown location. The Convention Center was a great success for Wilmot and was the first of many large-scale multifaceted ventures that we have managed. |
