Vice President Al Gore Residence

Wilmot provided LEED® certification and consulting to the project team responsible for this the first-ever LEED for Homes Retrofit in the United States.  The project impacted every area of the Gore home and included:

• insulation, windows, solar panels, geothermal, gray water collection,
• energy reduction, water sensitive fixtures and irrigation, drought tolerant and native plants,
• recycling, reuse and indoor air quality

Wilmot was recognized for outstanding performance on this project by the US Green Building Council and has since had staff selected as a Southface LEED for Homes Provider Representative for Tennessee.
